1. Playa del Carmen
Playa del Carmen originally started off as a small fishing town that later developed into a touristic attraction. The area has gone under a rapid urbanization with the increase of tourists, captivating them with clear waters and a white sand beach. Playa del Carmen is also a very famous worldwide scuba diving destination.
Tulum is a coastal area that offers a lot to the tourists. Tulum has beautiful clear water, white sand beaches, a great climate, and is the home to one of the best kept coastal Mayan sites. The Mayan castle located in Tulum is not like others because it is fairly compact compared to others. A guaranteed historical trip linked to a beach trip? What could be better!
Cancun is probably one of the most famous Mexican beaches. It is known for its gorgeous beach and famous city. It is located at the tip of the Yucatán Peninsula, almost the most eastern point of Mexico. A very famous piece of art in Cancun is the shield, which represents the city. The shield has the colors blue, yellow and red representing the water, the sand, and the sun respectively.
4. Puerto Vallarta
Puerto Vallarta, another famous beach from Mexico is located on the coast opposite of Mexico to Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Cancun. The beach lies on the western coast and have Pacific Ocean waters. Puerto Vallarta has grown into a large city, becoming the second largest in the state of Jalisco. Likewise, this city is known to be a watershed for Spanish culture, making it ever the more attractive.
